How a Legal Information Database built massive organic presence on Google, with hundreds of thousands of impressions per month and a steady flow of visitors on legal topics.
Objective
esd.gr hosts the SOLON Legal Information Database, with legislation, case law and detailed articles on legal topics for citizens and professionals. Competition in legal searches is fierce, with major portals and news sites.
The goal was to make esd.gr a reference point in Google's organic searches for legal topics, consistently bringing large organic audiences without paid advertising.
What We Did
We built on a content strategy: we identified the legal topics people search for (pensions, age limits, traffic code, penalties) and created detailed, authoritative articles and tables that answer exactly those searches.
In parallel, we worked on the technical structure, meta data, internal linking and organization of the legislation and case law database, so Google could properly understand and display each page. The result was explosive organic growth.
Results
Within 6 months, esd.gr reached impressive organic traffic numbers, with nearly 2 million impressions and tens of thousands of clicks from Google.
Additionally, clicks increased +12% and impressions +24% compared to the previous period. The data below comes directly from Google Search Console.
